Indoor Pickleball Near Halstead
Halstead, Your Nearest Indoor Court Is One Road Away
Long evenings, the same few pubs and not much to do when it rains. In Halstead, most leisure plans mean a trip into Braintree or Colchester and a hunt for a parking space.
Foxes Pickleball sits on the same road as you. Follow the A1124 Halstead Road through Earls Colne and the Colnes and you reach our working farm at Eight Ash Green in around 20 minutes. Park outside the barn, and when you book, the court is yours for the hour.
Why Halstead is picking up a paddle
If you love padel, you will love this. Pickleball has the same fast, sociable rallies, with a slower ball and a smaller court, so beginners are playing proper points within about 10 minutes. You do not need to be sporty and you do not need any kit.
It suits the way Halstead gets together: friends from Sible Hedingham and Gosfield after a new Friday night, couples who want a date night with a bit of competition, and families with teenagers who need something to do that is not a screen.
The barn is private and indoors, so there is nobody on the next court and the weather never gets a say. Bring your playlist for the Sonos speakers, play your way and laugh as much as you like.
Up to 4 players can play per booking. If there are more of you, book back to back hours and swap players in and out.
£20 an hour, everything ready
A booking covers up to 4 players for 60 minutes at a flat £20 an hour, with no peak rates and no membership. Paddles and balls are ready on court, the floor is carpeted, and there is parking on site and free WiFi. We are open 7 days a week and booking online takes about 2 minutes.
First time? Jason's Hour is a private coached hour for £45 with court hire included. Jason is a Pickleball England Level 1 coach and his sessions are by arrangement, so get in touch through our Contact page and we will put you in touch.
