Indoor Pickleball Court Colchester
No experience needed. Bring up to 3 friends and play on Essex's only indoor carpeted pickleball court, for £20 an hour, open 7 days a week in Colchester.
Bored of the Same Night Out? Try Something Everyone Can Play
Outdoor courts get rained off, the pub gets repetitive, and most sports leave the least sporty person on the sidelines. Foxes Pickleball fixes all 3: it is indoors, it is private, and the rules take about 10 minutes to learn.
You don't need to be good. You just need to show up. Pickleball takes about 10 minutes to learn, an hour to get genuinely hooked, and approximately zero athleticism to have the time of your life; all inside our converted Essex barn. No membership required. Just book, show up, and have a go at it.
New Here? Your First Hour Is £10
Never played? Bring up to 3 friends and try your first hour on our indoor court for just £10. That is £2.50 each for 60 minutes, with paddles and balls set up and ready, whatever the weather.
Pick a slot online, enter code WELCOME50 when you book, then show up and play. You don't need to be good. You just need to show up.
Valid on your first booking only. Offer ends 31 December 2026.

Never played? You will pick it up quickly
Pickleball is growing fast across the UK, and for good reason. It takes about 10 minutes to learn, an hour to get genuinely hooked, and approximately zero athleticism to have the time of your life. We've built a proper indoor court in a converted Essex barn. No membership required. Just book, show up, and have at it.
If you love padel, you will love this. Pickleball is just as quick to pick up and brilliant fun in a group, and because the barn is indoors and private, the weather never gets a say. By the end of the hour everyone is laughing, the rallies are getting longer and the group chat is already planning the next booking.

What Our Players Say
★★★★★ Emma B
None of us had played pickleball before but within 10 minutes we were completely hooked. Booking online was really easy, the court was ready when we arrived and we spent the whole hour laughing. Such a brilliant activity to do with friends and we'll definitely be back.
★★★★★ Mark H
What a great idea. The indoor barn means you don't have to worry about the weather and everything was ready for us when we arrived. We booked as a group of 4 and the hour absolutely flew by. Easily one of the most enjoyable things we've done in ages.
★★★★★ Rachel C
We wanted to try something different instead of going out for drinks and this was perfect. None of us were sporty but we picked the game up really quickly and were having proper rallies within minutes. Easy parking, simple booking and fantastic value. Highly recommended.

Book Jason's Hour: Your First Hour, Coached
Never picked up a paddle before? Jason takes your private hour from the first serve, explaining the rules in plain English, running a few quick warm up drills, then getting everyone into real points before the hour's up. It's built for nervous groups who'd rather be coached than left to work it out themselves. No fumbling through a rulebook, no awkward first 10 minutes, just a proper start to the game led by a Pickleball England Level 1 coach.

Corporate Pickleball Afternoons
Give the team more than a room booking. Jason runs a proper bracket for the whole afternoon, so it's real team building, not just court hire with extra steps. No arguments over rules, no dead time between games, just structured, competitive fun that gets even the most reluctant colleague involved. Ask about day rates for your group.

Family & Kids' Birthday Hours
Booking for a birthday or family get together? Jason runs a simplified, coached hour so you don't have to referee. He keeps the rules easy, the games fun, and everyone (including the grown ups) actually playing, rather than arguing over the score. A relaxed way for kids and families to try pickleball together.
