Indoor Pickleball Near Witham
Witham Friends, Swap the Usual Night Out for Something New
Another meal out, another trip to the same pub, another evening where half the group is on their phones. When the nights draw in and outdoor plans get rained off, finding something everyone in Witham actually wants to do gets harder every week.
Foxes Pickleball at Foxes Farm is a private indoor court in a converted barn at Eight Ash Green, around 20 minutes from Witham. It is a quick run up the A12 from Hatfield Peverel, Silver End and Kelvedon, and when you book, the court is yours for the hour.
Why Witham Groups Are Picking Up a Paddle
If you love padel, you will love this. Pickleball has the same fast, sociable rallies, but with a slower ball and a smaller court, so beginners are playing proper points within 10 minutes. You do not need to be sporty and you do not need any kit.
The barn is private, so there are no strangers on the next court and no one waiting for you to finish. Put your own playlist on the Bluetooth speakers, laugh at the misses and celebrate the winners as loudly as you like.
Pickleball is growing fast across the UK, and it suits every kind of Witham group: friends after something different, couples looking for a date night with a bit of competition, families with teenagers and workmates planning a social.
Up to 4 players can play per booking, and you can book back to back hours if more of you want a turn.
It is also a refreshing change from the busy town centre venues. There is no queue at the door, no shared hall and no club night to fit around. You arrive at a working farm, park right outside the barn and walk straight onto your own court. For Witham groups who want a night out without the hassle, it is hard to beat.
£20 an Hour, Everything Included
A booking covers up to 4 players for 60 minutes at a flat £20 an hour, with no peak rates and no membership. Paddles and balls are provided, the court is indoors and carpeted, and there is free parking, free wifi and Bluetooth speakers. We are open 7 days a week, and booking online takes around 2 minutes.
First time? Add Jason's coached hour for £45. Jason is a qualified Level 1 pickleball coach who explains the rules in plain English and gets everyone into real games.
